Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University confirmed its position among the leading higher education institutions of Ukraine in the Webometrics Global Web Rankings for Universities.
In the July 2026 ranking, Carpathian University ranked 7th among Ukrainian higher education institutions.
Webometrics Global Web Rankings for Universities is an international ranking that assesses the digital presence of universities, their academic openness, scientific visibility and influence in the global information space. The ranking takes into account, in particular, indicators of university visibility on the web, openness of academic results and research impact.
For Carpathian University, this result is an important confirmation of consistent work on the development of open science, digital infrastructure, university web resources, repositories, scientific profiles, academic communication, and international recognition.
The high position in the ranking is the result of the joint work of teachers, scientists, students, editorial boards of university publications, structural units and teams, who daily create high-quality academic content and strengthen the presence of the university in the Ukrainian and international educational and scientific space.
