Students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Daniil Tretyak (specialty E6 Applied Physics and Nanomaterials) and Aleksandar Stoykovich (specialty G8 Materials Science) became the winners of the 2nd stage of the International Student Professional Creative Competition “Materials Science” and were awarded with 2nd degree diplomas.
The scientific supervisors of the students were Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Head of the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science, Professor Volodymyr Kotsiubynskyi and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Applied Physics and Materials Science, Professor Ivan Yaremiy.
The International Student Professional Creative Competition “Materials Science” is aimed at integrating Ukraine into the global educational and scientific space, expanding international ties, supporting talented students, and forming a creative generation of scientifically active youth in the field of materials science. The competition consisted of two stages, in particular, the II stage of the Competition was held in two rounds: a double “blind” review of projects and a final scientific and practical conference.
The competition was held in February-June 2026 at the Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University. 150 student scientific works from different countries were presented in it, which indicates a high level of competition.
